Blue is the color of love.
At least for Ron it was so.
One day, he was sitting with Neela by the lake. The water appeared blue. The dark blue autumn sky engulfed the entire horizon like a canopy. He was staring at the blue sky leisurely. Slowly he lowered his gaze and looked at Neela’s eyes – did someone pour two spoons of blue sky in her eyes also? He was mesmerized by the omnipresent blue. Unknowingly he said, “I love blue so much!”
After that day, Neela made her dresses, her hairpins, nail color, earrings, almost everything blue! Ron was overwhelmed by the way she responded to his words. Neela painted their love with blue. Love and blue became synonymous in his life.
Blue is the color of emptiness.
Now, Neela is no longer with Ron. These days, even a glimpse of blue pains him, it leaves an emptiness in his heart. Wearing red from head to toe Neela now roams around with someone else. Can love also change color like her? Dejected, he looks upwards; alas, the sky also changes its color at will!
He sighs, how can he forget – the sky has no color! Blue is only an illusion, it just veils an infinite dark empty space. He was under a blue illusion of life. Now, it is his time for unveiling the truth.
